Stella

We know we tend to go on and on about all the little outfits our clients bring in, but seriously, seeing their amazing wardrobes is one of the highlights of this job - especially as we are both Mothers to little girls ourselves... we get lots of outfit inspiration! Stella was no exception... she had so many cute numbers to model for us, plus she was happy to have a play in our gorgeous new pettiskirt... isn't it divine?!

Stella came to see us a few months ago with her little cousin, Piper, but today it was her turn to be the star of the show.. and what a star she was!

Great to see you again, Leanne... and loving the haircut!

Alice

We met Alice and Clint today who are expecting their first baby on the 28th May and we would love to know where she is hiding this baby, she is so TINY!!! Alice told us that she loves sharing every second of her day with her unborn bub and that she has truly enjoyed her entire pregnancy. We can't wait to meet your little one in a few weeks Alice, enjoy your sneak peek!

Stephanie

This was always going to be a special shoot for us, as Stephanie is the daughter of dear friends, Adam and Belinda. She had the most wonderful wardrobe of little outfits, many of which she was wearing for the first time! The party dress is for Steph's first birthday in August and was sent over from a friend in the United States, so Mummy was very excited to try it on her!! We're sure you'll agree she will be the "belle of the (birthday) ball"!

A Family Affair!

There's something very special about having 4 generations of the one family come in for family photos... and all female at that! Throw in a few more family members (including a deliciously juicy baby boy!!!), and as you can imagine, things got quite noisy in the Baby Steps studio! What fun we had capturing this gorgeous family, thanks for sharing the morning with us guys!

Mothers Day Special

Happy Mothers Day... (well, almost!). Time to celebrate the special women in your life.

Luca

Little Luca dropped by to see us today, and boy we're glad she did... just look at her peaches n cream skin! Luca is another little bubba who is about to hit the big 1 year milestone, so it's lovely for her Mummy and Daddy to have some photos done now to mark this special time.

Luca had the most beautiful little outfits. Look at her little dresses and cardigan, and we absolutely fell in love with her pink tutu... ballet anyone?

Piper

It was a family affair in the Baby Steps studio today.... cousins Piper and Stella came to see us. Piper lives in Melbourne and was up in Sydney visiting her cousin, so her Mummy thought it would be a great chance to get some photos done... and to get a special few of the cousins together!

Both girls are just ADORABLE and we had a wonderful morning playing together. Enjoy your sneak peek Carly and Leanne, and we will look forward to seeing Stella again in a few weeks for her turn!

Dexter

I was on holiday last weekend and was lucky enough to snap some photos of my niece's son, Dexter. Isn't he just precious? He is such a happy little fella and I was so glad I was able to capture him in these few shots. Isn't the bandana just made for him? ...and just look at those lashes!!!

Zara

When beautiful little Zara arrived today she was sleeping peacefully in her Mummy's arms... and that's the way she stayed for pretty much our entire shoot! At 17 days, Zara is just a touch older than our normal newborn shoots, so we thought she could prove a bit of a challenge, but boy did she prove us wrong - she was one content little girl! Jo and Victoria, your precious Zara is absolute perfection - enjoy your sneak peek!

The Baby Steps Launch

Baby Steps was officially launched last night, and thanks to the thundering weather, we literally went off with a bang! We didn't let bad weather stop us though - what a night it was! A few toasts, a few glasses of bubbles, cutting of the big red bow (every good opening has a big red bow doesn't it!?!?) and we were open!






It was so exciting to unveil the studio for the first time. It was only fitting that we share the occasion with our nearest and dearest - many have been involved in building the studio in some way or another, and ALL have supported us 100% of the way! We know what you're thinking, "haven't you been operating for a while?", and the answer is yes we have, but we are proud to say that our very own dedicated studio space is now finished... Baby Steps has a home!

Ooh, and we couldn't resist sharing one last shot from the night... our gorgeous little Baby Steps mascots, Bailey and Allegra!

Annalise

Little Annalise is getting ready for that magical milestone: her 1st birthday is in two weeks time! She came in to see us today with her special birthday dress... isn't it adorable!? Perfect for a party!

This little cutie has such a cheeky smile and fortunately there were plenty on show today! Don't you think Annalise has the most amazing hair colour!? Just gorgeous!

Gideon

Isn't he just divine? Sigh! Meet little Gideon, so adorable and such a good little model for us... Mummy gave him a feed and he slept right through his shoot! This little one is obviously already so loved, Grandma made this gorgeous quilt for him so we just had to include it in a few shots! Congratulations Naomi and Josh, we are just so happy for you.

Blake

We can't go past a little man with gorgeous blue peepers, so when we met Blake today, we were goners! He was such a cutie with his great big smile, and he had so many cute expressions! Our favourite was when he looked like he was about to sneeze and closed his eyes, but he was actually just having a giant old chuckle!

Danica

We had a tonne of fun with Danica in the studio today. She didn't stop smiling the whole time she was here, which made for a very easy shoot! Don't you just love her spotty dress?!

Charlotte

We have been dying to meet this little one since her Mama came into the studio for maternity shots, and let us just say, she was worth the wait! Meet baby Charlotte, isn't she just divine?! I think we spent just as much time oohing and aahing over her as we did photographing her!

Naomi

Must be something in the air, beautiful "Mamas to be" everywhere! Our gorgeous friend, Naomi, came in today. As Nai already knows that she is having a boy, we were able to play around with "all things blue"!

Liam, Angus & Callum

Three boys in the studio all at once and each of them with their own unique personality! Apparently all three boys had these GORGEOUS baby rolls when they were little - isn't baby Callum just to die for...so juicy! Liam and Angus are such handsome young boys... no doubt Callum will follow in the footsteps of both big brothers!
